It has been an exciting launch week for Lush! There are tons of questions that I want to answer, but first, who is the face behind the mood boards, Pinterest pages, and photo galleries of your wedding dreams? I am Rachel Stackiewicz, and I cannot wait to plan with you. Here are the important facts to give you more insight into who I am!

1. I have been working in the wedding industry for five years!

I knew I loved all things weddings growing up. It wasn’t until my final year of high school that I actually began to see it as a potential career. As soon as I got to college, I started reaching out to planners to see what could come of it. I began as an assistant and worked my way up to a day of coordinator. I have been so lucky to have such great mentors to show me the ropes, and I am eager to take all that I have learned on my own journey.

2. I have been managing private events at The Foundry Table & Tap for the past two years…

…and counting! While I am thrilled to be on this new journey, I am so passionate about the work that I get to continue to do at The Foundry. We have a lot of new things always around the corner. I have so many amazing couples, brides, mamas, and birthday celebrations in the works, and I am so looking forward to being a part of them. There is something so magical about watching it transform into each guest’s unique vision!

3. I am your basic, girly-girl!

If I am out and about, you are almost always likely to find me in something pink and sparkly, and holding my Starbucks Strawberry Acai Refresher. I am a sucker for bright, fun colors, and flowers everywhere! Although that is my aesthetic, events of other vibes are not out of my wheelhouse, and I always look forward to seeing how others paint their own pictures. I have coordinated events with themes ranging from neutral, to fall, to skulls with all black, and I am ready to bring your own unique vision to life!

4. I am obsessed with dessert

I live for the Pittsburgh cookie table tradition. Yes, a dozen cookies per person is a necessity. I will always make sure you do not forget to leave takeout boxes at the table. If you are not having wedding cookies for breakfast the next morning, you aren’t doing Pittsburgh right! And you can bet that if you have a tiered cake with multiple flavors, a bite of each will end up in my cookie takeout box, too.

5. My favorite flower is a carnation

I fell in love with carnations a long time ago. Yes, they may be the least expensive in Walmart when Valentine’s Day comes around, but they are more than that. You will see them all over our brand as they symbolize fascination, distinction, and devotion. Those are three things that we look forward to seeing on your special day. Each event is unique, but the one thing they will always have in common is how much love and promise is shared between the couple on their wedding day. We are honored to be a part of that!
